Van Cortlandt Jewish Center Privacy Policy

We do not collect information about you without your explicitly seeing us do it.  Information that we collect is for our use.  We will not share it, sell it, or otherwise provide it to others without clearly stating our intent and having your permission to do so.

Examples of ways in which we may explicitly collect information are: online contact forms with fields for your name, along with your address or phone number or email address or specific interests.  By filling in these forms and providing us the information, you give us permission to use it within the Van Cortlandt Jewish Center.

If at any time you wish to be removed from a distribution or calling list, inform us and we will comply after verification.

Regarding the GDPR being enacted by the European Union to be put in place on May 25, 2018

We believe that the Privacy Policy described above is compliant with the GDPR.  Further, we will not use forms that default to opt-in.  If you are aware of any other issues that need to be addressed for compliance, please let us know.  All of this is despite the fact that we are not seeking subscriptions or other interactions with people based in Europe, nor expecting interactions with European citizens in any locale.
